I'm on an alumni email list, primarily for job/career related stuff. Sure, other stuff slips in there--apartments for rent, people trying to sell random bits of stuff, random advice on trips and stuff, but it didn't become overwhelming until zero-hour for this war. See, it's all fine and good to go to a prestigious university, but it does build into a you a bit (or in some cases, more than a bit) of arrogance. And one bit of arrogance is that EVERYBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE WAR. I don't. Pro-war. Anti-war. Just because I'm on a career email list with you doesn't mean I give a flying fig about your position on US foreign policy or international relations.
