My mobile phone has a voice notes recording capability. Usually I use it to record directions to some place, but occasionally I record other things that I want to remember. I went through and cleaned out the notes today, and here's six months worth of mysterious messages:

Chinese chicken salad makes perfect sense to me. Maybe I'll eat there soon.

Cooper's Best Extra Stout is the yellow-labeled one with the blue cap. It has a nice rich, dark chocolately quality. Great if you like Guinness or Negra Modelo. I'd send some, but I am pretty sure you can get it at the San Antonio BevMo in Mountain View.

I seem to recall lusting after the Isaac Hayes Juicy Fruit album after seeing a photo of it in Isaac's cookbook. Unfortunately, that and the Sergio Mendes Brasil '77 album with the two Stevie Wonder songs on it are just impossible to find. I did get this awesome LP entitled "Curried Jazz" last weekend in the $2 bin.
