It's a sad fact that I'm easily influenced by the patterns of speech of the people I hang out with. If I lived in the South, I'd be speaking in a drawl in about 6 months. As it is, I work in a company with lots of Australians. It's a losing battle I'm fighting. I use "no worries" and "how ya going" now without thought. Occasionally, I have caught myself saying "good on ya mate." This week, I've used "sussed" multiple times. Lord knows what's coming next.......
